§ Mr. DeanDuring November, 1971, about £4.9 million a week for unemployment benefit and about £2.6 million a week for supplementary benefit to an estimated 770,000 persons. During June, 1970, the figures were £2.4 million a week for unemployment benefit and £1.3 million a week for supplementary benefit to an estimated 470,000 persons.
