§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will give an assurance that the Treaty of Accession to the European Common Market will not be signed by Her Majesty's Government unless and until the legally-certified translations of the 2,000 pages of annexes and protocols have been published and made available to Members of Parliament.
§ Mr. RipponIt is intended that the Treaty of Accession to the European Communities will be signed on behalf of the United Kingdom on 22nd January. The English texts of the treaty and of the instruments to be attached to it will be laid before Parliament shortly thereafter
