Mr. William Price

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how much foreign aid has been repaid by receiving countries to Great Britain during the past five years.

Mr. Wood

In the financial years 1966–67 to 1970–71 a total of £155.1 million lent to developing countries was repaid exclusive of interest.
