§ Mr. Alexander Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the completion date of the Holy Cross High School, Hamilton; and if he will make a statement indicating the recreational facilities to be provided in the school and its environs.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe main part of the extension at this school was completed in November, 1971, and I understand that Lanarkshire Education Authority expects a further phase to be completed by December, 1972. This will include a games hall, two gymnasia, showers and changing accommodation. Thereafter, the authority intends to remodel part of the old school buildings but has not yet fixed a starting date for this work.
