§ 59. Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will take steps to ensure that the regulations requiring National Health Service pharmacists, when their pharmacies are closed, to exhibit a prescribed form of notice showing the addresses and times on which chemists in the area are required to be opened outside normal hours are enforced.
§ Mr. AlisonI have no reason to think that the requirement is not generally observed. Any specific complaint should be made to the local executive council, whose pharmaceutical service committee is responsible for investigating allegations of failure by chemists in the area to comply with their terms of service.
