§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish quarterly the statistics he collects concerning homelessness and applications for temporary accommodation.
§ Mr. DeanI am not satisfied that these statistics are adequate or reliable and I look to the Working Party on the Greve Report for advice on the principles on which they should be revised. In these circumstances I see no advantage in more frequent publication of the existing statistics.
