§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will issue a circular to local authorities advising them of the undesirability of adding exclusion clauses to their replies to additional inquiries or other questions raised by solicitors acting on behalf of proposed purchasers of property within their areas.
§ Mr. Graham PageA circular giving advice on this subject would be premature while the local authority associations are discussing the matter with the Law Society and while it is also being considered by the Law Commission which will be reporting to my noble and learned Friend, the Lord Chancellor in due course.
