§ Mr. Wigginasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing in each of the last 10 years the estimated numbers of married persons in the United Kingdom, the number of marriages and the number of divorces in each of the same years.
§ Sir K. JosephThe following table gives, to the nearest thousand, the number of marriages and divorces each year from 1960 to 1970 for the United Kingdom. The number of married persons can at present be reliably estimated only for the years 1961 and 1971: the figures were respectively 26,633 and 28,135.
