§ 75. Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish a report about the monitoring that has taken place into the lead and cadmium content of commercial fish and shellfish in the Severn Estuary and the Bristol Channel.
§ Mr. PriorYes. I have already announced that monitoring for heavy metals, particularly lead and cadmium, is proceeding and that I will publish the results. I expect to publish the reports on lead this spring and on cadmium later this year. These reports will deal, amongst other things, with the results of analyses of samples taken in the Severn Estuary and the Bristol Channel.
