66. Mr. Sheldon

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what he estimates to be the loss of revenue of allowing capital losses of companies to be deducted from their revenue profits;

(2) what he estimates to be the loss to the revenue of abolishing the different treatment of the various categories of profit and loss in the case of companies and allowing the full amalgamation of profits and losses.
