§ Mr. Dudley SmithIn the East Midlands planning area there were 2,297 young people, including 376 school leavers, registered as unemployed in January. 120 of these, including 13 school leavers, were from the areas covered by the Corby and Kettering careers offices. Careers officers are doing all they can to help these young people find work and job opportunities should improve as the Government's economic measures take effect.
