§ Mr. David HowellDuring the 12 months ended 1st December, 1971, the numbers of men and women placed in employment by employment exchanges were 862,573 and 401,052, respectively. Expressed as percentages of all vacancies for men and women notified to my Department, the figures were 69.6 and 57.6.
