§ Mr. Weitzmanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he proposes in the light of the statement by Mr. Justice Latey in the Family Division on 27th January that the Adoption Act, 1958, presented difficulties and that consideration Should be given to changing the law to make the interest of the children the paramount consideration as it was in other disputes about children.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe law on adoption is under consideration by the Departmental Committee on the Adoption of Children. The Committee's attention will be drawn to these remarks.
