Mr. Roger White

asked the Prime Minister whether he will announce the representatives from the Government benches in the House of Commons on the United Kingdom delegation to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe, and to the Assembly of the Western European Union, and their substitutes.

The Prime Minister

The following representatives from the Government benches have been appointed:

  • *The hon. Member for Dorset, West (Mr. Wingfield Digby) who will act as leader.
  • *The hon. Member for Hornsey (Mr. Rossi) who will act as deputy leader.
  • *The hon. Member for Leicester, South-East (Mr. Peel).
  • *The hon. Member for Plymouth, Devon-port (Dame Joan Vickers).
  • *The hon. and learned Member for Solihull (Mr. Grieve).
  • *The hon. Member for Sevenoaks (Sir J. Rodgers).
  • The hon. Member for Bute and North Ayrshire (Sir F. Maclean).
  • The hon. Member for Sheffield, Hallam (Mr. J. H. Osborn).
  • *Existing members.

The following substitutes have been appointed to act as necessary on behalf of the delegates from the Government benches:
