§ 64. Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will seek powers to increase the number of ambulance services that provide, in conjunction with intensive care units for patients suffering from coronary attacks, a special emergency service in which doctors go out with the ambulance to bring in the patients, in view of the necessity for speed in such cases.
§ Mr. AlisonAdequate powers already exist and trials with coronary care ambulances are going on but have not yet been fully evaluated.
