HC Deb 18 December 1972 vol 848 c282W
Mr. Skeet

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he expects to be able to introduce legislation to deal with the issues contained in the Erroll Report on Liquor Licensing in the present Session of Parliament.

Mr. Lane

As my right hon. Friend stated in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Ipswich (Mr. Money) on 5th December, he proposes to assess public reaction and to obtain the views of interested organisations before reaching decisions on the committee's recommendations. He sees no prospect of legislation this Session.—[Vol. 847, c. 391–2.]
