§ Mr. OnslowThe transport provisions of the EEC Treaty have not been activated for air transport: to do so would depend upon a unanimous decision by the Council of Ministers under Article 84 of the Treaty of Rome. The commission has advanced a proposal for study of air transport, which is under examination by my Department with the 257W British interests concerned and internationally. There is already close collaboration on air transport in Europe, bilaterally and through the European Civil Aviation Conference.
