Friend's statement of 28th June 1971 the British Steel Corporation has disposed to private interests its assets relating to forging, tool steel, tool steelmaking and brickmaking. These transactions have been conducted on a normal commercial basis between the parties without Government intervention and no inducements in the form of public money are involved.
