§ 34. Sir Robin Turtonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what requests he has received for assistance in the training of teachers for the deaf from the Government of Sri Lanka following the report of Mr. Michael Reed, Inspector of Schools for the Deaf, Inner London Education Authority, on the schools for the deaf in that island.
§ Mr. WoodMr. Reed's report contained recommendations for training in Britain, but not for training teachers of the deaf. I have had no such request from the Government of Sri Lanka.
