§ 19. Mr. Norman Lamontasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what decisions have been reached at the Anglo-Chilean talks on the rescheduling of Chile's debts to the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. KershawOn 8th November the agreement on certain commercial debts, between Chile and the United Kingdom, was signed in London. This agreement resulted from the multilateral conference regarding the consolidation of Chilean debts held in Paris in April which recommended the adoption of a rescheduling over eight years of 70 per cent. of certain Chilean debts maturing between November 1971 and December 1972.
