§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 13th November, 62,544 males and 11,491 females were unemployed in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. The following table shows for certain employment exchange areas, either singly or grouped into travel-to-work areas, the total numbers of males unemployed and the numbers of these who last worked in the coal-mining industry:
