§ Mr. Eldon GriffithsThe Association of River Authorities has recently expressed again its support for the reorganisation. I have no means of knowing whether any individual river authority now dissents from this view.
The Great Ouse, Lincolnshire, Welland and Nene, and Wye River Authorities wrote to us shortly after the statement in the House last December, expressing opposition to the general idea of multipurpose authorities.
