Mr. Dykesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if his housing action group will investigate the extent to which certain local authorities in the greater London area have recently accumulated land from private builders, to whom planning permission has already been granted, to hold for future municipal development.
§ Mr. EyreI do not think a specific investigation of this topic by the action group is necessary, but it is open to the group to discuss it during its visits to individual authorities where it thinks this would be helpful.
