§ 30. Mr. Redmondasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will open consultations with the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress concerning the establishment of a manpower commission.
§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkMy right hon. Friend announced on 22nd November that he proposed to set up a Manpower Services Commission and that the TUC and CBI agree with this proposal. The commission would take over responsibility for the Employment Service Agency we have set up in my Department, and for the Training Services Agency we are setting up now.
