Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) whether he will number of casualties both killed and wounded known to have been sustained by the security forces, including police, and civilians and members of the Irish Republican Army, respectively, from January, 1972 to July, 1972, inclusive.

The information is as follows:

allow internee Mr. Joseph Clarke permission to leave Long Kesh compound 3 under normal escort for the purpose of getting married to Miss Francis Hartley;

(2) whether he will make a statement concerning the medical treatment received by Mr. Joseph Clarke at Long Kesh during his period of internment since his subjection to hooding and a noise machine;

(3) whether he will investigate the circumstances in which Mr. Joseph Clarke was refused permission to marry while being detained at Long Kesh internment camp, since permission was requested for 10th August, 1972.
