§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Lord President of the Council whether he will make a statement giving details as to what extent the three Members who have decided to draw reduced salaries with a saving of £1,275.04 to the House of Commons Vote as at 30th June, 1972 will be able to claim these payments at a later date or whether if same is not claimed when due, the amount is lost for all time.
§ Mr. R. CarrMembers who have accepted reduced Parliamentary salaries may claim arrears in respect of the current financial year but are unable to do so in a subsequent financial year.
