§ Mr. LaneThese properties are to be sold by public tender. Most of the public houses will be offered in four main groups, each including properties from all parts of the scheme's area. The other properties, including the brewery and hotels, will be offered in separate lots. It will be open to anyone to tender for any group or groups or for any separate lot, but anyone tendering for a group will be required also to tender for specified separate lots. These requirements are set out in the conditions of sale which form part of the tender documents, to be issued early next month. A copy will be placed in the Library of the House, and I shall send one to the hon. Member.
The closing date for tenders will be 13th November. By about the end of the year my right hon. Friend expects to be able to announce the tenders which have been accepted, at least for the main groups and for the brewery.
