asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will reveal the Egyptian Government's reply to the representations made on the 3rd July for an extension to the Tutankhamun Exhibition; and if he will make a statement.

We have not yet received a formal reply to our request for an extension.
