§ Mr. PriorDuring 1971 19.6 per cent. by weight of all fish, excluding shellfish, landed by United Kingdom vessels was caught in the Iceland area. In the last 10 years the percentage has varied between 13 and 23 per cent. It is estimated that more than 95 per cent. of the catch is taken between 12 and 50 miles off Iceland.
