§ Mr. Ronald Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the fact that a member of the Greater London Council has a pecuniary interest in property companies concerned with the redevelopment of Piccadilly Circus, what consideration he is giving to these 107W interests in his assessment of proposals submitted to him by the council for the redevelopment of that area.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe applications for the redevelopment of Piccadilly Circus which I shall be calling in for my own decision were made by private developers to the Westminster City Council as local planning authority. The Greater London Council has not submitted any proposals for the redevelopment of the area.
