§ 39. Mr. John Smithasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will state the number of wholly unemployed in the North Lanarkshire employment area and the percentage of unemployed persons in relation to the insured population.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 10th July, 15,351 people were registered as wholly unemployed in the North Lanarkshire travel-to-work area. The rate of unemployment in the area was 9 per cent.
