§ Mr. EyreThrough the Institution, a panel of 400 estate agents representing all parts of England and Wales provides information four times a year on the number of second-hand dwellings which they have for sale, how many of these have been on their books more than three months and the number of sales made in the previous three months. They also give an assessment of the state of the market.
A summary of the results is subsequently released to the Press by the Institution and reported in its journal Chartered Surveyor.
