§ Mr. Awdryasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he expects to decide what action to take following his examination of the bid by Grand Metropolitan Hotels Limited for Watney Mann Limited; and if he will take into account the fact that a successful bid will have the effect of tying a substantial number of outlets, which are at the moment not tied to any brewer.
§ Mr. NobleI shall take this and other relevant factors into account in reaching my decision, which I hope to announce shortly.
