Johnson SmithNo. The question of retaining Wyvern Barracks, Exeter as a third depôt for the Prince of Wales's Division was considered very carefully but the implications of departing from the planned reorganisation of infantry depôts, in terms of manpower, economy and divisionalesprit de corps could not be overlooked.
