§ Sir K. JosephThe Government are today introducing legislation to fix the normal minimum age for part-time employment at 13—its present level. Other legislative proposals designed to improve and standardise the regulatory framework for administering this branch of the law, in particular the substitution of regulations for the present control by local byelaws, will be put forward as soon64W as parliamentary time permits, but not during the current Session.
