§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether, on his next discussions with the Trades Union Congress on the Government's desire for wage restraint and the need for a voluntary prices and incomes policy, he will give an assurance to the Trades Union Congress that Her Majesty's Government will not agree to the Boyle Committee's proposals for a further 20 per cent. increase in the salaries of the higher paid State servants.
