§ Mr. Masonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will seek to arrange with the owners and sponsors of the Tutankhamen exhibition extended time beyond the September closure date with a view to allocating more time for visits from schoolchildren in the northern counties.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeThe right hon. Members' suggestion is attractive, but it would be premature after only two weeks' experience to consider the extension of an exhibition which it has been agreed with the Egyptian Government should run for six months.
