§ Mr. CarlisleIt will be for the Totalisator Board itself to recommend, for my right hon. Friend's approval, the salary to be paid to the new chairman. The salary of the present chairman is £7,200 for a full-time appointment. Lord Mancroft's appointment is expected to involve about for days' work a week. Reasonable expenses will be paid, but my right hon. Friend would not expect the board to recommend any provision in respect of superannuation.
