§ Mr. John DaviesIn reply to the first part of this Question, I have nothing to add to my answer on 12th April to the Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Cheadle (Mr. Normanton). We shall be able, when members of the European Economic Community, to prohibit or restrict imports from other member States on such grounds as public safety and security, and the protection of health and life.—[Vol. 834, c.185.]
