§ Mr. Dudley SmithSince my Department already has a considerable amount of information about employment and unemployment in Cornwall, my right hon. Friend does not consider that a special study, which would involve appreciable administrative expense, would be justified. The economic and organisational measures we have introduced to encourage sustained growth and industrial investment, especially in the development areas, should improve the employment prospects of Cornwall and other parts of the country.
