§ Mr. Michael HeseltineMy right hon Friend gave his consent under Article 17 of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government Provisional Order Confirmation (Greater London Parks and Open Spaces) Act, 1967, to the proposed alienation of this open space land for highway purposes on 27th May, 1971. No representations were made against the proposal. But as I informed my hon. Friend on 28th July, 1971, 32 residents made representations at a later date against the road scheme. I have nothing to add to the statement my hon. Friend made then.—[Vol. 822, c.99–100.]
