§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a statement on the recent familiarisation visit by the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs to Tanzania, with special reference to his meetings with representatives of the East African community at Arusha.
§ Mr. KershawIn the time available, my hon. and noble Friend was not able to visit the headquarters of the East African Community, but in Dar-es-Salaam, as in Nairobi and Kampala, he was able to have useful and cordial discussions with the Governments of the three member states of that Community.
