Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry in view of the aggravation of unemployment in the Mexborough district caused by the decision of the National Coal Board to close Manvers main workshop in February, 1972, if he will consult with the Board in order to delay or phase the closure until suitable new industries have been provided in the locality.
