§ Mr. RidleyIn reply to the hon. Member's representations—which were the only ones received—on 19th October I stated that the decision to close the factory is a matter for the company concerned. The full resources of the Department of Employment would, of course, be available to assist in finding new jobs. I regret that there is no action I can take.
