§ Mr. Gordon CampbellIn August, my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and I arranged for discussions to take place between the British Sugar Corporation and the Consortium, who said that they were interested in taking over the Cupar factory. On 11th October my Department received a letter from the Consortium detailing issues emerging from the discussions. I am considering these issues and I hope to make an announcement soon.
