§ Mr. Gowerasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will make a statement about future Government assistance to the Development Corporation for Wales.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasIt has been agreed that in recognition of the expanding rôle which the Corporation has to play, the 201W level of grant-in-aid should be raised to a maximum of £35,000 in the current year and a maximum of £45,000 in each of the years 1972–73 and 1973–74. There will be a basic grant of £20,000 a year: the remainder will be payable on a matching basis.
