§ Mr. Michael HeseltineThe motorway between Hooton interchange and Bidston Moss—including the Moreton Spur—will be opened before the end of the year. The date of opening the new road between Bidston Moss and the second Mersey Tunnel depends on the outcome of the current appraisal of steel box girder bridges on this route. Part is already in use.
