§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what action she is taking on the reports she has received on student union finance; and if she will make a statement;
(2) if she is now able to state what action she is taking on the information from the Committee of Vice-Chancellors on student union funds.
§ Mrs. ThatcherI shall be ready shortly to start consultations with the local authority associations, the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals, and the student bodies; and I will first send them a memorandum outlining some proposals.
