§ Sir Alec Douglas-HomeI am glad to say that Treaties of Friendship have been signed between the United Kingdom and Bahrain and Qatar. I look forward to close relations with them. On 18th July six of the Trucial States Rulers agreed on a Union Constitution and preparations for the establishment of this Union are proceeding.
