§ Mr. Thomas Coxasked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the number of male and female unemployed at present registered at the Tooting Employment Office, S.W.17, and the respective breakdown of those under the age of 18 years and over 45 years of age at present unemployed.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 8th November, there were, provisionally, 2,613 people—2,277 males and 336 females—registered as unemployed in the area covered by the Tooting Employment Exchange. Of these, 82–51 boys and 31 girls—were under 18 years of age. The analysis for November does not separately identify those aged 45 years and over, but at 12th July, when 2,153 people were registered as wholly unemployed, 701–618 men and 83 women—were in this age range.
§ Mr. Thomas Coxasked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the number of registered unemployed in each of the regions of the United Kingdom; and how this figure compares with the numbers registered as unemployed on 18th June, 1970.
